And sure enough, school's back in action.

What a terrible summer. I'll give you a short recap, I suppose.

I got out for summer. I stayed home, got nagged at by my parents because I'm "messy" and I don't dress "appropriately" or like a "collegiate." The sad thing is that when they tell me this, they don't even say it figuratively either, they're dead on serious when they use those words. But like I said, I got out for the summer, and it started out allright. I went to a few shows here and there. I saw the Futureheads which was amaaaazing. They're a wonderful experience, and I'd definitely reccomend anyone and everyone to stop what you're doing and go see them live.

Another great show I saw this summer was Of Montreal. I had tons and tons of fun at that show. Kevin Barnes is such a good performer, as is the rest of Of Montreal, so again, another reccomendation.

Now that's about it as far as good things go.

Starting with the bad.
I got a job. Now is this really so bad, as one may ponder. Therein lies your double edged sword. I got a job working as a host and cashier at Nagoya Japanese restaurant. It's a good restaurant, and I get paid $7.00 an hour, so that's not so bad. But after about two weeks of working there, my car was stolen. Someone had gotten hold of my keys while I was at work, and they stole and totaled my car. Which isn't really so good at all. So even though I ended up making $3,000 for the summer, I'm going to lose about $2,000 of it, having to pay off the car. Not to mention other various expenses that have incurred over the summer.

My job also took away alot of my freetime. I was actually working three jobs. One for mom and dad doing paperwork/payroll, one at Paint it my way, and of course, Nagoya. So all in all, I was working six or seven days a week. It was insane.

But now it's over, and I'm moving back to school. I'll be moving into an apartment with Jonathan. This is quite the excitement. Come and visit us, if you're in town.
