Haha 101
Well, I've got a 101 fever. I've also got Bronchitis, and I have to take a bunch of medication. (Zithromax, Bidex, and Guaifenesin/Phenylephrine?) On top of which, I have to drink plenty of fluids and take tylenol. What fun this will be.
In other news, I'm going to see Interpol tomorrow. I'm quite excited about this venture.
Tentatively speaking, I'm also going to go to South by Southwest. I'll be going with Blayne, and I think it'll be totally fun. Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, I will get to see Dolour, Big City Rock, and many many more.
Speaking of music, I have an urge to play music with my brother. We're considering purchasing a mac, for recording purposes. Though the advent of this is probably unlikely, given the fact that we are poor-as-all-get-out.
I'm also possibly going to change up my site layout again. I'm just not too terribly pleased with this layout.
Oh. Not to talk about music again, but the rumors were right, Daft Punk's new album was a bit displeasing. Or not even displeasing, but it just didn't live up to Discovery, or homework, even. I think that they're going for a more abstract kind of sound. There are a few good tracks like "Robot Rock" and "Emotion", but really I think this album just wasn't as catchy as Discovery.
And finally one last note, Tahiti 80 released their new album entitled "Fosbury"!
....in Japan.
Fosbury won't be released in the United States until September. Which is an unfortunately long time to wait. I will eventually purchase the Japanese album, albeit the fact that it will cost $40 (not including shipping.) If you go to their Japanese Site, you can listen to clips from the new album, which I've found to be quite excellent, even though some sound different. I'm really excited about this, but seeing as to how money is short, I don't quite think that I'm going to purchase it immediately. We'll just have to see.
